Partnership in the Monterey Bay Regional Climate Action Compact is open to all government agencies, educational institutions, private businesses, non-profit, and non-governmental organizations in the region. Current partners are listed below.
Member organizations who join the Climate Action Compact are committing to participate in regular Advisory Group meetings and cooperate to further the agreed upon objectives and common goals of partner organizations using existing staff and available resources. This sort of cross-sector, regional collective action will allow each member organization to realize maximum benefit with minimal drain on resources while providing the most cost-effective approach to meeting common voluntary and regulatory climate action goals.

Pebble Beach Community Services District (“PBCSD”) is a local government that provides a number of services within the Del Monte Forest area of the Monterey Bay Peninsula. These services include emergency services, wastewater treatment, recycled water distribution, and waste programs.
Blue Strike Environmental works to strike a balance between the environment and communities by creating project design with a focus on climate action planning, sustainable event management, and community legacy strategies. Its team has built sustainability frameworks for the national sporting industry and has a proven track record for distributed energy and advanced energy storage concepts. Building public/private partnerships and engaging the community through this process is paramount to our mission.

The City of Santa Cruz’s Climate Action Program aims to leverage this attributes to foster a climate ready community that is both reducing emissions and preparing to adapt to climate change.
Sandbar Solar helps homeowners, businesses, and organizations save money and the environment through the efficient installation of solar power systems. Founded in Santa Cruz in 2004, our large, experienced team of trusted experts provide the highest level of consultation, design, engineering, installation and customer service for residential, commercial and municipal projects alike.
Central Coast Energy Services is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and the service provider for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and the Home Weatherization program for Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Mateo counties. HEAP provides a one-time per calendar year credit of up to $349 on utility bills including gas and electric, wood and propane accounts and for those that have their utilities included in rent; emergency assistance is provided for households in danger of having their utilities disconnected (15-day or 48-hour shutoff notices). The Weatherization program provides energy conservation measures for renter and owner occupied dwellings in an effort to reduce energy costs and improve health and safety. Weatherization services include an energy and safety audit and possible installation of windows, doors, furnace, water heater, attic and floor insulation, thermostat, carbon monoxide and smoke alarms, water conservation measures and more. Central Coast Energy Services programs are provided free of cost.
